Presented theoretical ideas and practical developments to create chemical waste-free cycles of the new generation for processing various complex raw materials.
The authors, based on the analysis of the composition of raw materials and their technological experience, applied radically different approaches to the disposal, for example, of asbestos waste, expressed mainly in the following 3 principles:
1. Apply stronger chemical reagents based on fluoride and sulfates;
2. Use the separation of raw material components between different phases (solid, liquid and gas);
3. Include in the overall recycling scheme of the operation of complete regeneration of the chemical reagents used.
As a result, the authors managed to combine a completely closed-by-reagent scheme of waste processing with zero residue of the substance, that is, almost waste-free.
