On 19 October 2020 the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin chaired a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission (IAC) on measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan. In accordance with the instruction of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, additional measures were considered to counter COVID-19, in particular, those that would prohibit the activities of banquet halls and the organisation of major events. Furthermore, all activities including conferences and exhibitions are also being suspended until further notice.
Under these Force Majeure circumstances in the interests of all participants and to ensure high-quality event, programme and networking experience that has made MINEX Kazakhstan the leading event in Kazakhstan’s mining industry, the Forum has been postponed until 14 – 15 September 2021. The program with the new dates and confirmed speakers will be updated on the Forum website.
We invite mining and metallurgical enterprises, local government bodies, universities, technology and solution providers who have implemented projects in the field of environmental safety and social development in the mining industry of Kazakhstan.
