Knight Piésold has worked on over 600 Tailings Facilities in the last 20 years, with projects in over 100 countries. We deliver projects from conceptual to detailed design and undertake Tailings Storage Facility options assessments, audits, reviews and risk assessments. We work on a wide range of facilities form conventional slurry tailings to filtered stacked facilities. Our approach encompasses all aspects of tailings facility design and construction including slope stability and seepage assessment, water management, ground investigation and construction management and QA/QC.
